What should you expect for your first appointment?
You are asked to fill out the new patient paperwork electronically prior to coming in, because your time is valued. Dr. Amanda will thoroughly go over all of your history in regards to your current and past health challenges, if any. Second, she will spend time explaining how chiropractic/wellness care works, and what she is going to do in order to find out if and how she can help. She strongly feels that the more she knows about you, the more she can help, and that is her primary goal.
The third component is likely the most important, and is begun once the consultation is done. This component is the comprehensive examination. The exam done at the office is very thorough, allowing her to figure out exactly what is going on with your health, and what the true cause of your challenges are. Lastly, you will be adjusted and given recommendations specifically for what your body needs. Dr. Amanda utilizes techniques that are safe, gentle and effective for the whole family: Toggle Recoil, Thompson Drop, Activator, Sustained Contact, Diversified and Webster Technique.
We will then go over the results of the evaluation, have the opportunity to review questions you may have and you will be provided with a care plan specifically designed for you.

New Patient Appointment: Office Tour, Consultation/History, Examination, Report of Findings and Adjustment
After your tour and consultation/history a neurological exam will take place using the tools below. Afterwards, we will review the results of you evaluation, answer questions and get you adjusted.
Posture Analysis
Your posture is a window into how your body is functioning since structure dictates function. Dr. Amanda utilizes this technology to screen for postural dysfunction and prescribe corrective exercises tailored specifically to you.
Insight Scans
This system objectifies how your nervous system is functioning via 3 cutting edge technologies: Thermography, Surface EMG and Heart rate variability. Thermography measures the level of spinal nerve irritation, surface EMG detects muscular tension/imbalance and heart rate variability captures your adaptability to stress from the environment. The technologies then give you an overall score for how well its functioning.
Bilateral Scales
This seemingly simple test shows Dr. Amanda how balanced your body is from side to side.
Follow up & Care Recommendations
On this visit Dr. Amanda will get an update on what you noticed new and different since your first visit, adjust you and send you home with any personalized at home care recommendations!
Do You Take My Insurance?
We are currently an out-of-network provider with insurance companies and operate on a cash fee schedule.
Why are we out-of-network? We have found that participating with insurance companies restricts us from providing the best, most individualized service and personalized care. We are not willing to compromise outstanding care by having to comply with the restrictions set forth by insurance companies. Not accepting insurance allows our attention to solely be focused on providing the best care for our patients
What type of payment methods do you accept? We accept cash,, credit (Visa, Master, AMEX, Discover), FSA and HSA's
If you have out-of-network benefits with your insurance company we will gladly provide you with a superbill following your appointments. You may then submit this receipt to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.
