Dietary and Lifestyle Strategies for everyone!

There are many things you can start implementing today even before diving into mineral balancing that will help set your body on a healthier path. Today we are going to discuss some of those strategies! Some may seem common sense, but think about which of these you could do better with.

  • Eating 100% organic as much as possible

  • Home cooked meals as much as possible

  • Grass-fed animal products (very important for detox)

  • Large fish and seafood should be avoided due to heavy metal content

  • 2-6 cups of cooked vegetables per day (wide variety)

  • Fermented foods (sauerkraut, kimchi, pickles, etc)

  • Bone and veggie broth to increase minerals

  • Organ meats and collagen powder to balance out amino acids in muscle meats

  • Clean mineral rich water (Spring water, Berkey filter or Pure effects filter) - this is the most common way we are exposed to toxins

    • A good filter removes the widest variety of contaminants without damaging the mineral structure (Brita, Santeria and Zero do not remove enough contaminants)

  • Drink plenty of water! (Gel water first thing in the morning and a rule of thumb I use is half your body weight in oz a day and if you are breast feeding add 60 more oz!)

  • Potassium is important to bring water into the cell as well, so I have a recipe for a Potassium Smoothie or Broth (ask me about it at your next visit and I will email it to you!)
